Bonanza tournaments are aimed at social players who play for fun but would like a chance to play competitively against different people, and low to medium level league players looking for increased competition. They are also aimed at players with little or no playing experience outside their club or school environment. Bonanza tournaments are also a useful stepping-stone to county organised open tournaments for players who wish to advance to a higher competitive level.

Update
95 players are playing over the two days, with players coming from London, West Midlands, West Sussex, Leicestershire as well from Truro, Exeter, Sidmouth, Clyst Hointon, Tiverton, Okehampton and North Devon. Over 250 games due to be played over the two days.
Addmission is free to the general public.
